About Ebele

ebele6

I started this blog about two years ago, when I interviewed many strangers in cities I was living in around the world, asking them about their lives and passion and dreams. Click here to see it.  It was also featured here.

Since then, I have been using this space to share conversations with people who I have admired from afar, my thoughts, work in progress and my self in general. I enjoy how these ideas grow in my mind and that of my readers and the relationships that grow out of these ideas.

So this where I tell you about my own life, passions and dreams 🙂

My name is Ebele Mogo.

I am a gentle yet passionate person.

I am both analytical and artistic.

I’m always laughing and I’m always curious. I love to grow and challenge myself everyday. Relationships are very important to me. The people I love are scattered all over the world and that is beautiful in its own way.

I moved to Canada from Nigeria and started university at 14 and by 19 I had completed my masters. Not Guinness Book of World Records-ish, but it definitely taught me how to deal with change, believe in myself, and connect with a diverse range of people.

In 2013 I moved to Colorado from Calgary to start a Doctoral Programme in Public Health. Before Colorado I lived in Waterloo Ontario, moved to Scotland and also did a brief stint in Japan. I have completed that and continue to provide consulting services for health organizations at www.erimconsulting.org. I also enjoy writing poetry, non-fiction and short stories here. I am also the President of www.engageafricafoundation.org . We can always use more hands so join us as a blogger, sponsor, volunteer, etc.

  1. You are so so so gorgeous. I love the whole makeover – your nail polish, accessories and make-up.

    Love you.

  2. Hi Ebele, I love your website. Yes, I agree with the other comments that you are very beautiful! But, the best thing about you may be your laugh. Hearing it in Belinda’s art video made my day. You site is very inspiring and I wish you well. If you were in front of me, I’d like to give you a hug.

  3. Hi Eden! Your comment put a big smile on my face:D I am glad you liked my laugh- when I was editing the video I was thinking- I hope I didn’t overshadow the whole interview with laughter so I am glad it made your day 🙂 Thank you. I checked out your work on your website. Your paintings are so intriguing! I love them and I hope to keep in touch with you.

  4. Dear Ms. Mogo,
I’d like to offer my new collection to your organization as an incentive to donors, if you think that would have value. It would be at your discretion, of course to decide who should receive an e copy as a thank you. If this would further the org.’s aims, please email me through the contact tab of my website, below. Thank you for befriending my lovely wife, Ann, on Twitter.
